FOSTER HOMES

The foster home agrees to feed, care for and evaluate the dog until it can be adopted.  This may take a few days, weeks or even months.  This can be very rewarding without the commitment of adopting. You are inviting a homeless pet into your home and "prepping" it for its debut into its forever home! OKBR is responsible for any medical care. THERE IS ALWAYS A GREAT NEED FOR FOSTER HOMES.

VOLUNTEERS

We always need people to:

• Perform home inspections
• Screen potential adoptors by phone
• Do secretarial work
• Transport dogs from shelters to vet
• Represent OKBR at pet showcases or expos
• Distribute literature to area veterinarians
